Engr. Dr. Funmilayo Waheed-Adekojo awarded The Woman of the Year

Nigeria News honoured Engr. Amb. Dr. Funmilayo Waheed-Adekojo Funmilayo with an award of excellence as "The woman of the Year".

The event  which was held Thursday, 16th of December 2021 at the NAF Conference Centre Abuja, had in attendance dignitaries such as the the Governor of Yobe State, His Excellency Mai Mala Buni;  Senator Ayim Pius Ayim, the Former Senate President and Secretary of Government of Federation; The Governor of Kogi State,His Excellency Alhaji Yahya Bello; the Governor of Nasarawa State, His Excellency Engr. A.A Sul; the Controller General of Custom, His Excellency Col. Ahmed Ibrahim Alli; His Royal Highness Alh. Abdulrahman Farouk, the Majem Daura Hakimi, Rogogo, The Special Adviser to the President on Media, Mr Femi Adesina but to mention a few.

Engr. Funmilayo while being presented the award by the former Senate President and former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Ayim Pius Ayim, dedicated the award to every Nigerian women both home and diaspora.
